Flowers and Chickens

So the picture you see is of some flowers we planted out first year in this house. I love these because they bloom right around our anniversary and 2 of the 3 years they have even been one of our wedding colors, (Orange) last year they were yellow still pretty yet I prefer orange. Well no worries those flowers are safe in the front yard. But we had some extra this year and Brett thought they would be nice in the back yard around the garden. After he planted them he came to show me, I just shook my head, I knew better, sure enough the next day all there were was standing green looking weeds the chicks and chickens had ate all the blossoms off. Oh well Thanks Brett for trying to make our bacykard look nice.

Wakeboarding

So last week Brett and I went to Vegas to celebrate our anniversary. On Thursday we went to St. George and stayed with Danell and Adrain. Than Friday morning we got up and they took us wakeboarding. I love it and so did Brett. He was so great, we didnt give him any advice this time and I think that was the key, he got up easy. Can I say I wasnt to bad myself (haha). Cal also went with Adrain for the first time, pretty sure he's going to be a natural just like his dad.

And I thought I Loved you Then.

Its already been 3 years, I get teary eyed thinking about it. We have had some wonderful great times and also some sad times, thankfully less than a hand full of sad and numerous times of great memories. I'm so grateful to have you in my life, and I know I've told you this before but I will be forever grateful that Heavenly Father loved and saw me fit enough to bless me with you in my life. Were perfect together and I cant imagine a day with out you. I love you more and more each day. Happy 3rd year Anniversary.

Love the 4 Tens

One reason for loving summer is that Brett's schedule turns to working 4 tens. It is so nice it makes it so easy to get away for a longer weekend and better yet this year instead of just having Friday off you also get Monday off and it just alternates that way. LOVE IT, were getting to do so much this summer. So for Bretts first Friday off we decided we would take his Grandpa fishing. His Grandpa loves to fish, it was so great to take him. Its times with his grandpa that I know I was totally meant to marry into this family. He reminds me so much of my own. I love him tons. Although we didnt catch anything we had a great time.

Looks Pretty Goog huh...

I loved making cookies growing up, every Sunday I would make some. Only problem is that they all sucked. I don't know what went wrong every time but I would follow the directions and still. I remember at one point my parents telling me not to try anymore that I was making them go broke wasting all the ingredients. Well through the years whenever there needed to be cookies I just bought them all done, Couple years ago I branched out and bought the ones that you just have to cook. Call me bored or something but Friday night I decided to make them by scratch ALL BY MYSELF (Brett did help frost). They turned out great. My friend Brynne gave me the recipe, they are such a great summer cookie. They are called Root Beer Float cookies. Yummy Yummy

Ward Campout

This was the first year we decided we would go to the campout. I'm glad we did it was a ton of fun. We talked and played volleyball Friday night. Fell asleep to the rain. Woke up had Breakfast and thats about it. It was great, we really don't camp to often.

Cades Famous too.

In Andreas blog she talked about the Dittbrenners being famous well so is Cade, if you listen to when Tanya is talking at the beginning you can hear Cade yell for Daddy. Well Danell your kids made it on TV after all. Watch my Dad and hear Tanya on this video. Thanks Dan.
