Sharks and Seals

These 2 exhibits were pretty quick. The seals were pretty entertaining to watch, you could buy food to feed them and they go crazy for it as you can see in the picture. Other highlights were the stingrays, penguins and all the different aquariums. Brett and I love seeing all the different Salt water fish since we have a tank, its fun to see what we could add to our own. If you plan on going dont waste your time waiting in line for the Shipwreck Rapids ride pretty disappointing. I do however recommend the Cirque Show we saw one similar in Vegas and this one was great as well. I cant believe the talents thats out there. Towards the end of the day we were kind of waiting for the night show and decided to go see the Pets Rule show, if your looking to get out of the sun and take a break great but honestly pretty lamo not worth scheduling your day around.

Believe (shamu Show), Dolphin discovery, and Sea Lions LIVE

Believe was a little sappy, in fact so was Shamu Rocks, But still Absolutely AMAZING. Wow I love watching these shows, its incrediable what they can teach these whales and animals to do, Although the trainers say that they teach us what they will do, in other words they are the trainers, I guess if I were working with a whale that weighed over a ton, they would definitely be the boss. I felt like I little girl watching these shows it was so magical to me. In the Dolphin show they chose a coulpe from the stands and they happened to be from Utah, They no sooner introduced them and the wife slipped and fell on her butt, way to make us Utahans proud. Brett loved how high the Doplhins could jump. Sea Lions live was so funny I was so entertained before the show a guy dressed in a janitor uniform acted like he was cleaning and poking fun of people, than he started playing music from varies TV shows and acting them out, it was hilarious. The guy ended up being the head trainer.

Polar Bears, Walrus, and Beluga Whales OH MY

Next stop was the Artic Exhibit, Oh Brrrrr, they keep is so cold in there, you really think your in the Artic, the ride here was nothing I would recommend it made me a little sick. Its one of those rides that you really dont go anywhere your just in a room. Not a big fan of those.

Sea World Atlantis

Our trip started bright and early, I woke up at 3:30am to start getting ready, I could have slept longer but I was so worried about forgetting something that I couldnt sleep. Brett was wondering why I would get so done up just to take our friends to the airport, I played it off that I had an appt right when I got home. When we arrived in San Diego everything just worked out perfectly the shuttle was right on time and the rental car was so smooth, I was pretty impressed with myself, usually Brett and I plan trips together,so for me doing all this myself I was proud. We got a crappie PT Cruiser wouldnt recommend it but it gave us quite a few laughs for the trip. Our first stop was at Sea World after walking through the Clydesdales exhibit we headed over to the Atlantis exhibit. There they have a ride and a nice aquarium. The ride was pretty fun it was nice we went at the begining so we didnt have much of a line

Happy Birthday to ME!!!

So normally I let Casandra do the posting here, but I thought I should do it this time. First let me say Thanks Babe! It was amazing. So here is how I spent my birthday. A few weeks ago Casandra told me that our neighbors needed a ride to the airport bright and early on Friday, so I said I would take them since I already had to be to work early. I get up and get ready and she said she didn't sleep well and was going to come to the airport with me. So we get to the airport and I see Casandra pull her backpack out of the trunk. It was early and I was trying to figure out why she brought her backpack, then I see my paintball bag in the trunk, I thought it was weird that our neighbors would have to borrow luggage, but who am i to judge. Then Casandra tells me happy birthday, I think I still stood there for a bit trying to piece it all together...I'm not too bright at 5am. So away we went to San Diego. First thing we did was go to sea world. It was a blast. I love that kind of stuff.

We went to all the shows. This was shamu in the morning. Then we saw some high flying dolphins.

We also saw the Sea Lion show, which was super funny. The highlight though was probably the Shamu Rocks night show. It was tons of fun.

Raspberry Rolls

4th of July Brett and I went up with his parents to Cash Valley Crusing (its a car show) up in Logan. On the way up I noticed a raspberry stand. Of course I had to stop. I bought a whole box full and let me tell you not one was wasted. I did decide to try and make raspberry rolls out of them. They turned out great and now that I have one try out of the way theirs only room for improvment .

3rd year Anniversary

Addi thought she was such a big girl listening at the Shark Reef

Alix had to run and get in the picture last minute it was pretty cute
Swimming at the Beach at Mandalay
Worlds Largest Chocolate Fountain at the Bellagio
Hiking at Red Rocks just West of Vegas

We kept tradition and went to Vegas again for our anniversary. We had such a great time every year we try and do more of the Vegas thing versus just hanging out with family. We went to the Shark Reef with Andreas family, stayed at The Hotel at Mandalay Bay like always it was so nice, hung by the pool, ate out and we also went and saw Mystere at Treasure Island. Mystere was so great so much going on you didnt even know where to look. We had so much fun, again I always look forward to this tradition.
