Millys 1st Christmas

She had such a great Christmas. We got to have her grandpa from Colorado spend some time with us and had Danells family come into town as well. She got some really great gifts as well. A couple days before Christmas she got a Little People Nativity from her Grandpa that I let her play with before Christmas. Christmas Eve we made a new tradition of eating Breakfast with the Tuia's they gave her a ring stacker that she loves! That night we enjoyed with my family at Kristie's house and Santa made a surprise visit and brought her "If take a mouse to the movies". She loved Santa but I will have to say the best was watching Cade with Santa. he was so concerned where the reindeer were and if Santa liked Milk and Cookies. I can't wait for Milly to really get into Santa like that. Once we got home from Kristies we did our own tradition of opening up pajamas apparently it was a Utes themed all but Milly got Ute pj's but even than her's were red. We sang Silent night and just enjoyed holding our little one by the tree. IN the morning we headed of to the parents house. We enjoyed Breakfast and opening gifts. Milly got a Precious Planet jump a roo that she thinks is AMAZING, little people, farm clothes, from Great grandma Satterlee a push button popcorn thing and Formula from Grandma Singleton. What a spoiled little girl! She has friends a family that love her so much. After that we came home and opened our gifts than I got cooking a cleaning to host my first Christmas Dinner. I enjoyed doing it. Yes lots of kids may stress me out but I really do enjoying having my whole family here minus Andrea and Wayne (missed you guys so much). After my family we left again to enjoy dinner with Bretts family. It was a long perfect busy day.

Our New House!!!

Finally we sold! It took ages, and even though we were so against having a realtor we finally decided to give it a shot and were glad we did, We found a great one! We listed our house mid September and a week later she had it under contract with a back up offer as well. She even got more than we were asking for! So in these tough times we feel incrediablly grateful to sell our home still get a good price on it and get into this beautiful home. We are so excited to have the room for a growing family (no thats not an announcment. Food Storage, Watter Barrells for storage and so much more. I am so grateful for this home I love everything about it! I also cant wait for the summer to of course do summer remodeling!

Family Bets

Each one of Brett's Family members has there own NFL team they like, so Brett thought it would be fun to do a small bet on who ever wins get dinner from the other person lets just say I owe a lot of dinners this season (stinking Broncos). However we did manage a win over the Seahawks which if I had to pick someone in Brett's family to beat Chris would definitely be my pick even though Brian likes the Raiders, Chris sure is a fun won to beat. He made us a great dinner and I even had to rub it in some more with wrapping his Birthday present in Broncos paper.

Living with the Inlaws

For a month while we were waiting to get into our new house we lived at Brett's Parents. We enjoyed our time there very much. Milly loved seeing are being spoiled by grandparents. Brett enjoyed seeing his parents more. Although I enjoyed both of those things my favorite part was looking out the window and seeing wheat, corn, pumpkin fields everywhere. I love this sight and I think the reason why is because you are not only seeing Gods hand in all things but the hard work of farmers planting tiny seeds in a ugly muddy dirt field and there hard work turns into something so relaxing a beautiful to see.

The last few weeks...

Top Left: Milly helping to hang her 1st Christmas ornament.
Top Right: The morning of the big game, I guess both girls were in tune enough to know what was going to happen. Milly of course with her CRT...choose the red, and her poor cousin Jayanne that we are still trying to convert.
Bottom Left: On Thanksgiving Milly got her first chance to try real food...kind of, this was her first bites of oatmeal. She did really good with it, now she absolutely loves it.
Bottom Right: Mom and Milly happy together.
