4th of July 2012

I cannot get enough of this Holiday I love it! We started the day bright and early with being in the West Point parade, Brett was invited to drive his Nova through the parade. We all enjoyed it, Brett enjoyed driving, I enjoyed watching Milly, and Milly loved every second of it she thought she was so cool getting to toss candy and wave to the kids, even though she cant throw for crap (I'm pretty sure it hit the nova and Brett rolled over it) she still was having a blast. About half way into it Brett got a little nervous about the car overheating and I was nervous as well, how horrible would that have been to be stuck in the middle of the road, however we made it! After we parked the car for it to be in the car show we walked around the booths and enjoyed entertainment. We played some Bingo and was in a horse shoe contest (Brett and I need to practice for next year). Once it hit noon we went to lunch and then home for all of us to take a nap. We then hit Clearfields celebration which the only good thing about that one is the Elephant Ears, then to Grandma Singletons for a Bar B que and Fireworks. I loved every second and enjoyed this day with my family!

6th Anniversary

Brett and I had a wonderful day together. We enjoyed going to The Roof for dinner we bother had never been and it really was special we had such a great view of the Temple and I loved being able to look at it and just be reminded of the meaning of Temples and how special they became to me on this day. The food was also amazing not very often can you eat a a Buffet and love every dish but wow. For Bretts anniversary present he received a Utes Helmet and handcuffs for security. I received a Gift certificate to Beyond Spa for a Pedicure couldn't have come at a better time and also some jeans that will pick out this fall. We finished the day with going to our nieces Birthday party. I loved every second of it!

More of Milly 2nd Birthday!

of course Milly needed to get some presents on her actual Birthday, so she received Candyland, some Cars legos, and this chefs costume. this cost me 2 bucks and it is her favorite she loves cooking in it and taking the outfit on and off. We also enjoyed playing and going to Applebees for her Birthday dinner.

38 weeks

So as much as I hate pictures like this I guess you need to do them anyway right? Talk about the longest 9 months of my life and it continues. It really wouldn't have been so bad if I wasn't sick the whole time. Having another child really helps get your mind of things that I don't feel like at the beg I was thinking about the pregnancy that much. But now that I'm huge its all I can think about. Also when I say I've been sick I'm not referring to pregnancy sickness, but holly crap because of being pregnant and everything going to the baby I have caught more sickness in the last 9 months then I have my whole life and I really don't think I'm exaggerating one stinking bit. As far as weight I ended up not doing to bad as of today I am 4 more pounds then I was with Milly so that's 150. I guess I'm okay with that because when I started I felt like the weight came on strong everyday and being sick didn't help because its not like I was throwing up I was just miserable and could't ever breath (due to the Bronchitis thing). Anyway starting my 39th week pains have really set in up into then I have been able to handle them all easy but now I struggle. A week ago I was perfectly content with even going past my due date I felt that good and now I cant sleep, I have to pee every hour at night, even after I pee I walk back to bed and still feel like I have to go again. Anyway you get the point its what we all go through. All in All I really need to go into Labor on the 12th around 4pm, that's when I have started my time off and it would really be the best for my schedule my due date is the 13. Its Sunday morning so for now just stay in there whats 4 more days!

Milly 2 year Stats

33 inches 29%
25 lbs 28%
19 inches 71%

She is growing like a weed and chaging everyday. I would have to say her favorite food is Blueberries but she  likes pretty much all fruit. I also love the way she says Blueberries, lotion she says it oc like ocean. She always says Thank you and please. Even though it gets annoying she will always say "sit down" when she wants you to play, sometimes its even "sit down sit down sit down". She has such a sweet spirit I hope I never screw her up in raising such a sweetie!

Milly 2nd Birthday

I love planning parties, however I hate how nothing ever turns out the way it looks on the internet, but I guess I tried right??? The worst part is that it looked somewhat descent before I left then it all got ruined in the car. Anyway we went a little more low key this year and had her party at the Holiday Inn Express, we had some lunch, presents, sang, cake and ice cream, then everyone enjoyed swimming. She sure did have a great time with family and friends. Thanks to all mine, Bretts family and the Tuia's for coming and the wonderful company and presents your brought.

Summer Fun

We have already done so many fun things this summer, we have enjoyed many many cold drinks!
Feeding the ducks at a pond we just recently found near our home.
Going to the aquarium with Dad while mom went shopping (this was my mothers day gift, a day alone it was wonderful)
Many Days on the slip and slide and pool even though its just now July.
Snow cones with cousins, Milly has become quite the fan of these kids they bend over backwards to make her happy!
Jumping on the tramp with the sprinklers on underneath.
Her cousins giving her a ride again and again in the canoe, I think they both were relived when Milly sat down and cried because it was to hot so they had no choice but to come in.
Picking Cherries at Uncle Chris, gosh I cant get enough of them!

Davis Schools Cent Celebration

This year marked the Davis School District Centeninal celebration and to end the school year they did a huge celebration. Brett took part in the 5k and took 3rd place in his division (not bad for not even training). We all enjoyed walking around looking at things and Milly getting to play all the games, she is getting to be so active and fun.

Hike Back

This was a great hike to end with because it was the one and only hike Milly was trusted to run around (no cliffs). So it was perfect for her to get out her last bit of energy before the trip back home.  I was glad that we were able to find some sand again for her to play in since she loved it so much and the Sand Dunes would have been way to hot to try and go back for her to play. Anyway all and all we had one last great vacation as a family of 3. I'm glad we went and I'm glad the weather wasn't miserably hot yet. We mads great memories as a family and was glad my Dad could join us and Milly get to know him better she was a big fan!
