Priya 4 months

Height 24 inches 27% Weight 14 55% Head 16 1/4 48% She is rolling around like crazy and wants to crawl so bad so she can play with sister. The other day Milly made her laugh so hard in the tub I loved hearing those 2 girls.

Fall Break 2012

This year we went St George with our friends the Wrights that live a couple house up from us. We had a great time, the trip started off rough with Milly throwing up (she gets motion sickness we have found and will always throw up if she eats breakfst in the car, hopefully she will grow out of this) anyway the car stunk the rest of the trip lovely huh. After that we had a flat tire. Not sure why we seem to always get flat tires on road trips but I think this was the final straw and we will get new tires before every trip. But those two things just added to the excitment of the trip right??? Anway we stayed at the HIE by Coral Canyon. We enjoyed new foods that Ben had us try and they were all great. We spent a day at Sand Hollow, went to the Temple, went on some small hikes and just stayed at the hotel and played at the pool. We had a great time getting to know the Wrights better and just relaxing in nice weather. I love how Milly decided to chill on the bed, made me laiugh.

When Dad/Grandpa visits

I love when people come visit, I always try to be so accomadating, however they usually are stuck on our couch or on a blow up mattress, Well I'm happy to say the Basement is in the works and we will have my much desired guest room up and running. Until then my dad enjoys sleeping in this bed. every morning I ask him how he slelp in the Cnderella bed!

Priya's Blessing

We had a beautiful day to bless Priya on hot but not unbearable (like Millys. In her blessing circle was Brett, Grandpa Dittbrenner and Singleton, Brian Singleton, Chris SIngleton, Bryce Behunin and Jared Elzinga. We also had close frineds the Tuia's, Steve Carlson and the Wrights, other fmaily members including Great Grandmas and Lois and Jerry Singleton. Thanks to all for this special day. Brett gave her a beautiful blessing. After we headed back to the house wand enjoyed a light lunch. I had some help making the food (thanks sisters)everything turned out just the way I wanted it too and that very rarely happens. I think I was most grateful no one was stung, there were Bees everywhere due to all my Sunflower decorations!

My Priya Princess

She really is my princess nuf said! I love seeing her smile and just how differnt she is to Milly already. Milly always had to help hold the bottle, Priya could care less. Priya also always has to see what is going on which I hate cause I want to cuddle and she wants to face the opposite way so she can see whats going on. 

Millys Second Year Portraits

Milly is so fun, I love the age of 2. She is getting better and better at sentences. She is also miss Boss she will say "Sit down sit down", when your putting her to bed and laying by her, when you go to get up she will force your head down with her hand.  I love when she sings ABC's at the end its "now I know my c's. She brings so many laughs into the family. She also never tires of asking for mac and cheese for breakfast every morning. I love the girl she is growing into.

Our new Family

So even though getting newborn pictures right after hainvg a baby is always a pain its so worth it. I found a great girl to do our pictures, I love them all. It was Bretts birthday and I had an entire day planned however we were getting our pictures done all day SERIOUSLY, this girl was so good with taking her time and making sure everything was perfect, so Brett maybe next year will have time to spend on you.

Sisters

I love how much Milly loves Priya and I love dressing them the same. Milly has grown up so much since we left the Hospital, in one way it breaks my heart and in the other way its what I need. I not only left the Hospital with a new baby but a new big girl as well.

Getting use to things

For the most part we are doing great but there are still moments of Priya much deserving the nickname Poutty Priya. She can sure let you know when somethings not perfect in her life. however she is still much easier than Milly was. She doesnt take a pacifier which sometimes is frustrating but I feel like she does okay with getting over things fairly quickly. Milly one day brought over the stool to look at Priya and the next thing we knew she is giving Priya blankets and books (as pictured) I love that, even though she doesn't always want to hold her and see her she has a great love for her sister. When ever she wakes up and asks where Priya is and when were about to go somewhere she always makes sure I don't forget about her. For the most part though Milly drives Priya nuts. One morning Kristie had Milly and it was just Priya and I, I gave her a bath and it was the first one that she wasn't going crazy I know it was because sister wasn't there to bug her.

Well enjoy our first new family picture!
Once again we had a great stay and were not ready to go home. Although  Milly was ready to get back to normal life and routine, the last day she was SO READY to go home. So we opened up are going home outfits and got ready to embark on our new journey as a new family. I will say the drive home wasn't as near stressful as the first and we live twice as far as we did with Milly, honestly I think we got home faster with Priya than we did with Milly lol. It has surprised me how quickly we were able to settle with this new life style. Once we got home we put Milly down for a nap and just enjoyed some time with Priya till we all fell asleep.

Hair

I love having a baby with hair, in fact for now its the only way I can tell Milly and Priya's baby pictures apart. As Priya was coming out the Doctor said shw had hair but I didn't really believe him but she does and I love it! No bold spots here KNOCK ON WOOD!

We enjoyed bonding as a new family. Milly did ok at times she was freaked out by her but for the most part thought she was neat. We enjoyed visitors of course Grandma and Grandpa came, Chris and his family, Tanya and hers and lastly Nicole Stuki. We enjoyed showing Priya to all. Saturday night while Brett was taking care of Milly I enjoyed Priya all to myself. This was such a special night I'll never forget  I relaxed  I held her and just took a breath for once and took in life.
