Back to Milly

So I guess I am in the bragging mood. Not only about Casandra, but also about Milly. Last Sunday night we had her playing on her tummy, and she flipped over to her back. I was excited, but also thought it was probably just a fluke, but last night during tummy time, she did it again 3 or 4 times. She is so amazing and beautiful...she takes after her mother.

Here she is showing off how strong her neck is, she seems excited about it.

Here she is just chillin'

She is a very curious girl, always looking around to see what everyone else is doing.

I love in-n-out...what more can i say.

Milly is not your typical baby, she does not like to be swaddled. The first morning that I went into the nursery to get her all the other babies were wrapped up like mummies, but not Milly, she was sleeping about like this, arms out, and legs uncovered.

Casandra's recovery

So I know almost everyone just wants more pictures of Milly, and they are coming soon, but I just wanted to take a minute to talk about my incredible wife.
Casandra has been such a great mom. She sacrificed so much for Milly through her pregnancy and now, that I just wanted to say thanks babe.
On top of all that, I have to say that I have a smokin' hot wife. Most people can't believe that she looks this good just a couple of weeks after giving birth. You look great Casan.

More Milly Pics

If you have seen any of Casandra's sister's blogs, you may have already seen some pictures with all 3 new little cousins together. Here they are at our house: (Left to Right) Bella, Milly, Peyton/

Here is Milly in one of her 4th of July outfits. This was also the day she came home from the hospital. I say one of her 4th of July outfits because Milly's grandma bought this one for her, while Casandra and I bought one for her too.

This is Milly right before she came home from the hospital. Pretty dang cute if I do say so myself.

Here is another picture of all 3 girls together, this was at the hospital.

Casandra might not appreciate me posting this picture, but I think it is so funny, I don't know if she thinks she is being a monster or what.

Also I wanted to thank everyone that has been so good to us, and has helped us out. It is so appreciated. We are truly blessed, not only to have this beautiful girl in our lives now, but also to have such great friends and family.

Cherry Picking

On our way home from the library Thursday my Dad and I noticed a sign in my neighborhood to pick cherries. Brett hates Cherries so as you can image wasn't all that excited to do it, but my Dad and I were. We went home picked up the truck and a ladder and enjoyed some yummy cherries.

Syracuse Days

We loved Syracuse Days last year so we decided to go again this year. Brett was excited to be able to get his gigantic cookie again but I was a little disappointed because we got there around 7pm booths did not close till 8pm yet so many were already picked up or were picking up, how annoying. Anyway after that we enjoyed playing Rook with Brett's brother Chris and his family. Than of course Fireworks.

Millys Room

All that is missing is her.
I have enjoyed putting her room together so much, I think my favorite thing to buy and stress over was her bedding, but I absolutely love it and her room is so perfect and precious for her.

I have been Blessed

So as nervous as I was to have friends and family throw me baby showers, I was extremely humbled and grateful for all I received, and most of all surprised at the great turn outs and how much people cared for me. My first baby shower was back in April at my work, they did it than because there was another teacher having a baby than. At that shower I received a nice car seat and many cute clothes and blankets. Next my mother in law and friend Bethany threw me a shower in West Point. I loved seeing old and new friends and most of all was once again blown away that people who didn't know me but was friends will Jill and knew Brett would come and support me. The last one I had was my ward shower, that some close friends from church and who I also do nails for threw. The ward shower was amazing as well so many members came and I was able to get to know each better.
I am humbled in the fact that people are still so willing to generously give in these hard economic times. I thank each of you and appreciate all that I received.
