Milly even enjoyed playing pin the tail on the Zebra!!

Milly loved having all her friends and family over including...
The Behunins
The Elzings
The Tuia's
Great Grandma Singleton
Great Grandma Satterlee
The Wrights
Grandma and Grandpa
Chris and family
and
Brian and family

I started to make gift bags for the kids with my cricut, than one day I was at Hobby Lobby and saw just as cute as bags, so that is why their are so many different looks. I also made the hot pink pom poms hanging up, I thought they turned out cute!!!

I had such a fun time planning this party. I decided to go with a zebra theme because she has a way cute skirt that was given to us from my friend Roslyn. Anyway I decded not to do a full dinner becusae I wanted to use Apotacary jars and do a bunch of desserts. So we just did fruit, veggies, chips and salsa. We also had pink (of course) lemonade and for the desserts a beautifl cake, strawberry cookies with a hug on top so the look zebraish, white popcorn, black licorice, pink and white frosted circu cookies,I also had a bakery make hot pink donuts. I thought everything looked so cute!!

Millys 1st Birthday

Her day started a little slow, it was just her and I because Brett was helping his brother with his roof, but none the less we made it fun. We played with her toys read books and danced!!! Her she is in the outfit her grandma bought her, It turned out really cute on her!!!

Davis is my Hospital!

So I have hesitated so much in posting these pictures because I didn't want people to think we were bragging, however this is my journal and I will always want to brag about my little girl right!!! So that being said I know I already talked about the experience we had but the Billboard is now up, it went up in May. It was weird too how it went up because the night I was driving home from school I noticed that they took the old Davis Raymond Billboard down. However it was some other billboard and not us. I was kind of bummed thinking we wouldn't be up. However the next day I ran into my brother in law Brian at Office Depot and he said he saw us! It has been fun to see just how many people have noticed even people from church who we dont know and I didn't think ever noticed me would recognize us. Anyway long story short I am so glad my family got to be a part of this I know Milly will love seeing "Life size Milly" as Casche would say!!! It is also fun to see because the Billboard is right in between Kaysville and Layton heading North so Brett gets to see his girls everyday!
Milly and I tried to poss the same WOW has she grown she was a month and a half in these pictures.

Milly is Walking!

If people asked about Milly walking I would always say not yet, but hopefully by her birthday and that was only because she wore a huge puffy zebra skirt so it would just be easier. Well on June 27th she decided she would walk. She wasn't great but has made some major improvement in just the short two weeks.

Sunset City Days 2011

In the past we have really enjoyed the activities that Sunset does for there city celebration, however this year was weak. No Bingo, No Flame throwing contest done by Cars (okay that isn't as great as it sounds but we would still go). So we were bummed we really enjoyed picking up Grandma Satterlee, Grandpa and Scott walking over and playing Bingo. However we still went, got an Elephant ear and than played games waitning for Fireworks. Milly was so tired that she just turned her head to the side. She didn't fuss though!!!

Dinner at the Olsen's

Saturday night we enjoyed being with our friends the Olsens and McStraws. I love and appreciate these two women. They were great Young Women leaders and I appreciate their example and all they did for me.

Denver Museum of Natural History

It was fun to go as a family to the museum, I haven't been there since elementary school.

Casa Bonita

After the cemetary we went and had dinner at Casa Bonita a Colorado must. Which is funny becauase the only good thing on the menu is the cheese enchiladas and sopapillas. But the atmosphere and entertainment is great

Moms Grave

After leaving Kansas we drove into Denver stopped at Safeway each picked out a flower and took it to my moms grave. It had been a while since doing this and it was very special to me to take Milly there. Brett picked out a Lily because at our first house we planted Lily's in our yard for Mothers day, planting flowers was always something my dad did for my mom. I picked a red carnation because red was my mothers favorite color and she loved carnations. Milly picked (okay not really) a Sunflower because she brightens everyone's day!!!

Haunted House

I am going to miss all the landmarks we would drive by on our way to the farm, like this house, Phillipsburg, I loved the old Kansas sign that had a huge sunflower, and even the cow factory gosh the car stinks for an hour after driving past that.

The man ran up to wave Hello!

Some of my favorite things about Arnold were....
that he would always name pigs after us girls
By Golly
And refering to the picture above, every time we drove by this hill on the way into Washington he would say.."Look that man ran up the hill to wave hello" Soory the picture is not great but its a wooden man decoration (not sure really what to call it) waving.
