Pregnancy in a Nut Shell

So even though I never got deathly sick while being pregnant the first 18 weeks were not the time of my life. I didn't feel like myself I was tired and just unmotivated. Than around 20 weeks I started to get some energy back enjoyed the way I was feeling and took a job as the Clearfield High School golf coach. That energy seems to have lasted till about 24 weeks and now I'm tired again and my Back never stops hurting. She did give me the best Valentines Day present she could have given me, and that was being able to feel her kick for the first time. I still hate brushing my teeth because I gag and almost throw up evertime. Even though I can still fit into some of my low rise jeans at 27 weeks, she really started to show around 23 weeks until than I just looked like I let myself go. Well thats my pregnancy in a nut shell so far. The countdown is less than 100 days.

Valentines Day

Brett has always been so great about making Valentines Day so special to me and this year was no different he gave me the perfect gifts. One good thing about being pregnant is that I have been craving healthier foods and tons of fruit so the best gift he gave me was this delicious fruit basket. I loved it, he also gave me some gorgeous brown pearl earrings and necklace.

Great Friends

While in Cancun we meet some really great people from all over the world. We enjoyed sharing our trip with them and playing poker with them, I thought I was a good player till I played with them boy did I get worked. William is from Iran, Linet his wife from Armenia, Marco from Argentina and Mark and Donna are from Chicago. I has been fun to stay in touch and even talk about going on a trip again next year.

Just Relaxing

What a relaxing trip, the day we did the Dolphins we hung out at the Dreams, I thought we would be able to snorkel since that resort is on a different side but the water was still shook up pretty bad. We also enjoyed a little shopping. We bought our soon to be little girl a cute Dress. I love everything about this place. We lucked out with some great weather except for our last full day there it started raining about 11am and did not stop. Its nice to have a resort that has an entertainment team to help on days like that. The day we left we were able to enjoy the last little bit of sun in the morning than got packed ate some lunch and it started to down pour again. Lets just say it made it easier to leave.

Delphinus at the Dream Resort

I have always known that Brett loves the "sea world" however I didn't know that if there was some decent money in being a marine biologist he would like to do that. I found that out while on our trip, so I got to thinking one night and came up with a the perfect Valentines Day present for him and this was it. He had such a great time and I loved just watching. Even though the hose you on the pictures it was worth every penny. I cant wait to do it with him someday, and we will definitely do it at the Dreams we love that resort.

NO Shoes NO Shirt NO PROBLEM

It was so nice to wake up to a beautiful day, not sure if I mentioned earlier but the day we arrived all though it was nice it was pretty windy. I loved that Brett was so willing to do what ever I wanted to do this trip, in the past he has kind of ran me to death with all the excursions he wants to do, so this being a trip for me before the baby comes he was so patient with just wanting to lay on the beach and every now and than cool off in the ocean. I love all inclusive resorts, my favorite part is if your smoothie melts a little bit no big deal just get a new one. I must have downed 30 each day. It was pretty crazy to see waves in the past the ocean has been so calm so we were both surprised to see red flag days and decent sized waves. So although we couldn't snorkel we had fun just playing in the waves. I will admit being pregnant I think I go a little over bored with protecting this baby, I didn't get to far in, so I guess I should say Brett had a good time in the waves. My other favorite part about this day was that I started to read a book titled "Enjoy the Ride" I highly recommend it was the best book I could have read it helped me relax better and just enjoy every second.
