29th Birthday

I have officially less than a year now to live it up before I am the much dreaded 30.. my birthday was a blast though. Since the day was on Sunday we did the celebrating on the weekend, we started with going to Pizza factory with his family. Saturday Brett had some surprises that didn't happen because he was in a car accident earlier that day (he was fine) although he did still surprise me with getting a babysitter and we went to Melting Pot and did some shopping. Sunday I received Breakfast in bed some capri jeans and a IPOD touch. Other presents were Hobby Lobby gift card, Tai Pan gift card, a cricket and cartridge, money enjoying lunch with friends and more!!! Thanks all for a great birthday!!

Grandma and Grandpa Easter Party

Milly had a great time at this party since she could take her sweet old time (and she did). Grandma assigned colors for each kid and one color a free for all egg. The adults enjoyed a hunt as well. Not to brag but I did find the most eggs!!! We had such a fun morning doing hunts and than enjoying lunch with his family.

Syracuse Easter Egg Hunt

Not as good as Clintons but still a good time. They had older kids in Millys division so Milly pretty much just hung out and watched these kids grab all the eggs.

Clinton City Easter Egg Hunt

I loved Clintons hunt it was so organized and just perfect. They had an age group of 0-11 months so it was just perfect for her. To start the hunt a huge fire truck sounded the alarm and as you can imagine great for kids not so great for babies lets just say my Wide eyed Milly came out, while most of the other babies cried. All the other hunts ended in seconds before this group even did anything, Kids would walk bye confused and ask their parents "Why aren't those kids getting the eggs and candy"??? So after about 5 minutes bigger kids came and started taking the eggs and candy so we gathered some for Milly and that was it. SUPER FUN!!!

East Egg Decorating

So the kids dont come over and decorate cookies anymore becuase the year I had them come over and do that it was the biggest mess of my life, I still found sprinkles the day we sold that house. So needless to say this lasted all of 2 minutes. I am trying to be a good mom and let Milly do things but I cant stand the mess kids make. AS you can see in the one picture she toss the eggs and spilled all except for 2 colors. So when Brett and I went to finish that night we didn't have much of a color choice to choose from.

Kristies Easter Party

She is a little afraid of grass and doesn't like it touching her!
I love how Spencer is peeking, all the kids were waiting on Milly since she is the youngest she gets to go first!!

Of all the parties Kristie has this one is my new favorite. She feed us dinner and than had a children's hunt and an adult hunt. It was fun to watch Milly have something to do and for a chance for Brett and I to have some fun as well. Thanks My family loved it!!

Most of all for being the mom you were, I have never doubted in a decision on what you would want me to do as I saw you raise teenagers and young adults I learned so when I got to that point I knew exactly the advice you would give or what you would have me do. That is why I am most thankful I am the youngest in the family so I could see how you raised teenagers in such critical times in life. I miss you still all the time, but I know your time on earth was complete you taught us all and had finished your course. I LOVE YOU MOM!!!

The Easter Bunny also visited us

Brett got socks, an Xbox live card, and cologne. I got candy and a Beyond Spa gift card!!

What the Easter Bunny brought

I really got into Easter I think its because Milly is getting at such a fun age and really enjoyed the eggs (except if they were in the grass. The Easter bunny brought her a book, puffs, Discovery Nursery Farm, and some bath toys. I knew if the room was perfectly cleaned with no distractions she would know exactly where to go and she did!!

Easter Sunday hunt

There was a couple eggs outside for Milly to find but the majority were inside and that was so much better since she is unsure of grass. Since Millys grandma bought her Easter Dress I made it a tradition to buy her a new outfit that day. When I look back at my East hunting pictures half the time my clothes didn't even match I just rolled out of bed and hunted for eggs, so it will be nice to have her in a cute outfit for all the pictures.

Easter Sunday

Easter was wonderful up until I accidently feed Milly a different brand of Mixed veggies that had Sweet Potatoes in them and she threw up the rest of the night. For some reason sweet potatoes and her do not mix. So I dropped off the food at my sisters and we enjoyed a quite evening by ourselves. Milly's Easter dress was sure pretty, but since it was made from silk and slippery she had a heck of a time crawling or doing anything she wanted in it. It was actually kind of funny to watch.
