"Push Present"

Fist of all please ignore my hand the schools hand soap is a little harsh on my hands and lets face it I never have or will ever have George Castanza's hands!!!

Now onto the post, if you watch according to Jim you probably know what I am talking about but if not a push present is a gift received after having a baby. Anyway this was mine and it means a lot to me. Mainly because I can see in it so much thought and love went into it. First of all this present will always be linked to Milly because it is a "Pearl" ring (her middle name). Second Brett told me that he ordered it from the jewelry store we went to in Hawaii, he told me that life may change but he will always cherish and remember the times it was just us and look forward to the times when it will be just us again. He picked out the perfect gift. Milly was so worth all the pain and crap endured during pregnancy but by this gift I can see that Brett recognizes the hardship it was and appreciates it. He truly spoil's me, one of the things I learned while teaching the marriage and family course is that your spouse is the one who is always with you forever your kids get married but you are always with your spouse, so if your going to spoil anyone spoil him or her. I loved that comment and it has stuck with me. Thank you Brett this ring means so much to me, I love it!!!

Why do we buy toys?

This keeps her entertained as much as almost anything else.

Back in September our family had such a WONDERFUL opportunity to be a part of the Davis Hospital campaign. We loved every second of it. When we arrived a professional makeup and hair artist did our makeup and hair, she was so fun to get to know. Than they took us down where we shot the commercial than off to take the photos. We were treated like royalty did I mention I loved every second of it!! It was such a fun day for us one of the ladies there told us that her baby did a similar commercial when she was born and that they made it tradition to show the commercial every year on the babies birthday, I think that will be so fun to do as well. So dont be surprised now when you see us on a billboard, TV, internet or flyers. Once they send me the commercial I will post that as well. I am so glad Brett and I were able to be a part of this but I am so excited for Milly! As a side note when I first told Brett that we were asked to do this Brett said hopefully they will give us a can of formula for doing it, well we didn't get formula however we received a NICE check in the mail! Once again I am so Thankfully for the chance we had to do this WE LOVED EVERY SECOND!!! I am also proud to say "My names Casandra and Davis is my Hospital!!!

I have it GOOD!!!

Honestly I love the life I have, I AM SO BLESSED! I love that things just always work out for Brett, myself and Milly. I have had many people tell me "wow you're lucky" and although I am not putting that saying down in any way, crap I say it all the time and will continue to say it, I believe that a person CAN make there own luck. With that said my newest great news is that I received a Merit Scholarship!!! The other day when I went to get the mail I saw the letter in the mailbox and automatically thought it was a rejection letter because I thought they said we would be notified from a phone call if we got it but sure enough I opened it and saw that I was entitled to almost $800 WOO HOO!! and Thank You Roger from Transportation Alliance Bank. The whole day I was on cloud nine, I can not begin to describe the appreciation I have for receiving this scholarship. I worked really hard for this and am so honored that I stood out and yes with a lot of hard work mixed with a little luck this great thing happened!

Happy Saint Patricks Day!

So I cant say I did a whole lot like other moms do like make green pancakes and green eggs etc... But I am looking forward to doing that next year. I did however buy this shirt for Milly after all I couldn't have her getting pinched! She did enjoy pinching her Dad and Uncle Brian. This outfit only made it till about 10am than I had to wash it of course due to a blow out, I swear some days I feel like I'm up to my shoulders in poop.

Newest Project

My friend Kim bought a cute chandler for her daughter and I wanted to get one for Milly so bad but couldn't get myself to pay the price they were selling for. Than it just so happened my friend Nicole and her family bought a new house and were planning on just throwing this chandler away, so needless to say I took it painted it and I TOTALLY LOVE IT!! Thanks Nicole!
