Davis County Fair

I love going to the fairs every year. Its probably the number one thing I look forward to durning the month of August. This year we enjoyed watching some extremly talented Lumberjack men who did some log rolling. Our chicken so would have won the chicken contest. They are so much more better looking. Brett did a all you can eat ice cream contest (only two bowls). Best part I would have to say is that we both won Laser hair removal packages (Cant wait to start before Hawaii) and I also won a $60 dollar modbe clothing Gift card.

Ogden Classic Waterslides

My Manager at Beyond Spa rented out the waterslide park for a work party. We had such a great time. The food was delicious and the slides were way fun. Im surprised we dont here more peolpe talk about this place its fun and cheap. The slides were super fast it was kind of scary and they had a huge blow up slide that is really dangerous with two people. But so much fun. Anyway Thanks Lori you held a great party.

Day Farms

A couple of days ago I went to a local farm and bought some strawberries. I absoutely loved being outside and picking my own while supporting my local farmers. For me it is so self nuturing and peaceful. While I was there I also noticed the wheat fields, I think that is one of the most beautiful sights a person can see. Although they were already plowed the golden fields were just amazing. Im thankful for the farmers and there hard work. Having my own Garden I have learned just how hard gardening can be. Well I really enjoyed my strawberries just eating them plan as well as making strawberry cobbler. Im pretty sure I will go back again and this time try jam.

Wheres All The Raspberrys?????

So Friday we went up to Bear lake to enjoy Raspberry Days. I was so excited since they are my favorite food. We had such a good time. It was so beautiful up there and peaceful. We enjoyed relaxing by the Lake so much, I think we could have stayed up there all weekend, had we prepared. The only weired thing was that there was not cretes and cretes of Raspberries. In fact there were none, Except for one both that sold chocolate covered raspberries, fudge and raspberry cinnamon rolls. Everything was so delicious, but I did have to come home and buy my cretes at Albertsons.Oh well I loved every second of it. The entertainment, the food, Bear Lake, and of course the craft fair. I love seeing all the cute things people make. I bought such a cute Bumbles watch.

Raspberry Days

Bretts 30th Birthday

So for Bretts 30th I threw him a Luau (since were going to Hawaii soon). It was so much fun. We had family and close friends come. For journal purposes Grandpa and Grandma, Grandma, Duane and Jill, Chris, Brian and Kailynn, Bryce, Kristie, Tanya, Jared, Daniel, Brynne and Kirk. So sorry if I forgot anyone and please let me know. We made a pineapple palm tree, I thought it was so beautiful, and had smoothies, Fruit, Rice Crispie treats, and peanut butter fingers. I totally forgot to take pictures of the activities and fun, but we had a great time. It was more like a nova birthday, because Brett recieved so much for the nova. However he is looking forward to going to the movies as well with his gift card. Thanks to all who came we had a great time.
